A New Horizon: China 中国

In 2013, I embarked on a metamorphic journey to China for a three-month exchange program in Tianjin.

It was my first experience living away from home, a time filled with excitement and discovery. With Beijing just a short train ride away, I often found myself exploring its vibrant streets, historic landmarks, and bustling markets.

During this time, I had the unique opportunity to mingle with local students and forge connections with fellow international students from around the globe.

These interactions enriched my understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Those connections, I still foster to this day with close friends in particular from Novosibirsk and Yinchuan.

This album is a collection of moments captured through my lens, showcasing some of my favorite images ever taken. From the grandeur and size of the Forbidden City to the visceral beauty of setting eyes on the Great Wall, each photograph reflects a piece of my journey, my growth, and my passion for photography.

Join me in reliving these unforgettable experiences and let these images transport you to the heart of China, where adventure and inspiration await.
